I am Debutante Tahirah Latifah Shareef, I am currently attending Cass Technical High School. I am thrilled to be among the four young ladies debuting at this esteemed event. I am the daughter of Mr. Rahman Shareef and Mrs. Tamorah Shareef.

 

 

I will be accompanied by Allen Carter, son of Mr. Brandon Carter and Ms. Ricarla Carter. Les Meres et Debutantes Club of Greater Lansing was established in 1962 by a group of nine pioneering women, including Esther Abrams, Hortense Canady, Lela Eaton, Mattie Foxall, Robbie Harris, Catherine Harrison, Estella Saunders, Shirley Wills, and Dorothy Wilson. Our organization is unique because Les Meres (the mothers), provide and facilitate all the programming, mentoring and funding for the debutantes (the daughter).
